Though it's a rich wine it is matched with lots of detailed tannins

with the intention of reestablishing those natural winemaking processes
but not what I would call funky
The Vouvray Sec comes from a small planting of Chenin Blanc on clay soils (opposed to the domains dominate silex soils) as these vines produce wines that lend themselves to being fermented totally
and stone fruits that effortlessly glide across the palate with a long and lively mineral finish
and it’s a much more refined and textural expression than versions from Austria
