The house was commissioned by Edgar J. Kaufmann, Sr. who also commissioned Frank Lloyd Wright's Fallingwater. Shulman is arguably the most famous architectural photographer in history and is known as an instrumental figure in communicating American modernism to the eyes of the public throughout the 20th century.

The shade shows some wear and age

This set has been newly upholstered

The model number is 666 WSP

and the glass is in excellent condition with no signs of use

these chairs are in solid condition with some wear apparent

25 inches tall and 18

as well as some scrapes on their edges

but the steel is shiny and presents beautifully with no pitting or rust

The lamp stands 18 1/2” with a diameter of 15” when the shade is positioned vertically

concluding in 1967 and these were presumably part of their furnishings acquired circa 1967
