1946 DCW Chair by Ray and Charles Eames for Evans Products Company in Calico AshThis is a pair of DCW Dining Chairs in Calico Ash, originally designed by Charles and Ray Eames in 1946. These are ultra rare, early examples that were produced by the Evans Plywood Company. These came to us via the estate of a Cornell University professor in Ithaca, New York. One chair retains its original Evans label, which is the earliest label used aside from those used on pre production models. Each chair measures 20. 5 inches deep, 19. 5 inches
