This could have been for the waist but I feel it was for the head
The fabric is not only encrusted with pearls and stones it is on a bed of 20's netting with metallic embroidery and fine beading at the bottom
fraying along the silk edging of the belt and some loose lace trim edging the neckline (see close-ups)
Lovely scalloped edge at the bottom
