Doreen is the daughter of Maudie Jugadai and Phillip Lane and the granddaughter of Timothy (Timmy) Jugadai Tjungurrayi (19201988) and his second wife, Bessie. Timmy was born in 1920 in the dry Alalbi creek bed near Haasts Bluff, Northern Territory. Timmy and his wife

The blue in the design reminds the artist of all her trips back to this oasis
