SOLD……A Tunbridge Ware tape measure- new printed ribbon. c1840A Tunbridge Ware tape measure with an inlaid top and a turned rosewood barrel. The salmon pink ribbon is a replacement but with printed numbers ( please see photos ). In excellent condition. 2. 5cm high Diameter of base 2cm Diameter of top 2mm over 2cm. Stock no. KM21

This AR stamp is unusual as AR with the crown refers to Adelaide who became the Queen Dowager on the death of William IV in 1832
An unusual Tunbridge Ware stamp box
Just under 3 inches
Finger aperture 13mm in diameter
and finally an oak wall mirror with old glass
Late 19th century / early 20th century
The blades are stamped Leuchars on one side and A R with a crown between on the other
The handles are variant which may be deliberate so as to easily identify which is which when in a writing box -the tooling is identical
has a pearl plaque on the lid engraved and filled with black-
The silver spring cover is decorated with a stepped design
