Excellent overall condition. The smooth brass foot is unmolested. The spool spindle fit is excellent. The tensioner works as intended. The agate line guide is free of cracks. There is no evidence of repair or any un original parts.

The book is bound in full black leather with gilt titles on the spine and front cover
this rod weighs 4 1/2 oz and has size 14/64 ferrules with an excellent fit
Near mint condition with only the slightest signs of handling
left or right hand retrieve
and assorted Catskill style dries) are in excellent condition
The very bottom does show light wear of being used as a hook keeper
I can't see any sign this rod has been cast
