Vintage Black Forest Carved Wood Jewelry or Trinket Box Steamer Travel Trunk Suitcase Shaped Late 1800's - Early 1900's Hand Made OriginalThis is an original vintage hand carved black forest jewellery or trinket box. It is shaped like a travel trunk with hand carved straps going around the box. The top is signed Chesieres on the top as a souvenir from Switzerland. It measures 4 3 4 inches or 12 cm in length, 3 1 2 inches or 9 cm in width and 2 1 2 inches or 6. 5 cm in height. It would have once had a key to lock it but the key is no longer with the box. It is in very good condition

It was made in Scotland by Adams

The back is hung by the horseshoe

It is made of wood with a mother of pearl inlay in circles at the handle
