Smooth alloy foot with an ebonite handle. Ceramic line guard. The drag has a smooth pleasing click and the tensioner works as it should. Designed to hold #6 7 8 lines. The reel packs into the original black vinyl case and box and the spool packs into the original box as well. A fine example of this later
