Edwardian Diamond Dormeuse EarringsCute French dormeuse earrings dating from the early 20th century, circa 1905. They're each set with two glistening diamonds a rose cut, and a larger old mine cut in a pretty scalloped prong setting and feature back to front ear wires that fasten behind the top stone. Beautifully made, in 18ct gold and platinum, with French control marks (eagle head). Dormeuse, meaning 'sleeper' in French, because they're comfortable petite enough to be worn whilst

The head is finished in platinum and adorned with incredibly fine millegrain detailing
