Kiln dried Ash Lumber 5/4 (31.8 mm) imported from America is usually used for furniture, flooring, doors, architectural materials, carving, interior trims, kitchen cabinets, panels, tool handles, sport items, turnery, etc.
Ash wood dries quite easily. The wood has low distortion when kiln dried, a very good compressive strength, excellent shock resistance and good characteristics for steam-bending.
