Yellow Poplar Lumber 8/4″
Yellow Poplar lumber 8/4″ machines quite well, although the wood may be fuzzy on the surface after milling. Therefore, great care should be taken in milling process. The wood also glues well, dries quickly, has no cracking when nailed or screwed, low shrinkage but susceptible to warping when drying.
Yellow Poplar lumber 8/4″ is quite light in weight and soft. It has a low compressive and torsional strength, low shock resistance. Poplar has no odor, taste and is not resistant to decay.
