Chestnut "Stone" in PorcelainA little ode to beautiful chestnut trees, a wonderful porcelain stone for holding and admiring. My porcelain stones are hand formed and are hollow (there is a tiny hole on the bottom), but they still have a nice heft to them and are quite sturdy. This one has been coated in black underglaze and then sgraffito decorated with a chestnut leaf design. Clear glaze with a buffed matte porcelain on the very bottom. A pleasure to hold. I have long admired

decorated with an inlay of dark pink slip using the mishima technique

total length is very close to 2 inches with the long hooks

String ready to hang in a window or from a shelf

This stone has an added treat-- when I punched the whole out on the bottom

Hangs from handmade gold filled hooks

Handmade recycled silver ear hooks

and all materials are Made in the USA

Attached to silver chain with two soldered loops

Envelopes in Purple or Lavender

1/2 inch deep

Simply slip the end of the hook into the small loop to secure them
