(1) お米のとぎ汁（でんぷん質のとぎ汁）を鍋に入れてよくかき混ぜます。
庶民の暮らしの中から生まれ、定形化し、その名で呼ばれるようになった我谷盆。町はダムの底に沈んでも、盆の形式を通して名前が継がれていく。大分に生まれ、飛騨で学び、広島で制作活動をおこなう「さしものかぐ たかはし」は、その継ぎ手のひとり。
