Cherry Lumber 8/4”” machines, nails and glues well. Walnut can become particularly smooth and beautiful after sanded, stained and polished. The wood dries quite quickly, has a large shrinkage but has a good dimensional stability after kiln dries.
Cherry Lumber 8/4”” is rated as medium in density, has a good torsional strength, medium durability and shock resistance, and a low hardness.
