Poplar lumber 4/4" is used for furniture, funiture”s parts, moulding and interior trims, toys and kitchen utensils. It is mainly used in America for woodblinds and hatch.

Yellow Poplar lumber 4/4" machines quite well, although the wood may be fuzzy on the surface after milling. Therefore, great care should be taken in milling process. The wood also glues well, dries quickly, has no cracking when nailed or screwed, low distortion but susceptible to warping when drying.
